Description
OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting governance, reporting, process improvement, and strategic initiatives within the IT Asset Management (ITAM) Currency and End-of-Life (EOL) function. This position requires a strong communicator who can work independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to enhance business processes through reporting and automation.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive and resourceful mindset, demonstrating the ability to handle non-routine situations with sound judgment. They will leverage their expertise in reporting and analytics, particularly using Microsoft tools, to produce actionable insights and support decision-making across various teams.
Pay: T4 $40-45
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support governance activities during audit and regulatory examinations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with strategic initiatives involving both internal and external stakeholders to drive organizational goals.
- Build effective working relationships across multiple teams to facilitate collaboration and communication.
- Exercise sound judgment to identify, investigate, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Develop and maintain procedures, workflows, process documentation, and end-user materials to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with training, knowledge transfer, and the transition of tools and templates to ensure smooth implementation.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and automation within existing processes.
- Produce executive and management reporting using Power BI and other Microsoft tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate data insights.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data to inform business strategies.
- Translate business requirements into comprehensive reporting and analytical solutions.
- Support the automation of recurring reporting and business processes to enhance productivity.
- Help optimize and scale reporting and analytics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing tools that improve operational effectiveness across the organization.
- Demonstrate a proactive, resourceful, and continuous improvement mindset in all tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Experience automating business processes using Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to document processes, procedures, and business requirements in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrated decision-making capabilities and systems thinking in a business context.
- Proven experience in process improvement and analytical thinking to drive efficiency.
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on data visualization and storytelling.
- Self-starter with resourcefulness and the ability to work independently.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Power BI dashboard development and reporting experience.
- Python coding and automation experience.
- Experience with Power Automate for process automation.
PREFERRED
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in reporting, governance, process improvement, or business operations functions.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
