What You Will Do:
Saw Operator will be responsible for operating a saw machine in the machine shop, maintaining accurate parts through the operation of the saw, following QA procedures, and assist coworkers when needed in training and production in accordance with all quality and safety protocols.
Operate saw machine efficiently.
Produce accurate parts.
Follow QA procedures.
Read and understand prints or drawings to check parts.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Help others maintain production and work area.
Ensure raw material is received correctly, including the correct color painted on both ends of the bars for identification, all paperwork turned into the appropriate people, and material placed in its assigned location.
Deliver finished parts to appropriate departments.
Daily forklift checks.
Performs other routine duties.
Perform other duties as required
Position Details:
4 day - 10hr shifts, Monday - Thursday, 5:30am – 4:15pm

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and/or experience.
A years of relevant experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
Good computer skills.
Ability to Read Measuring Tapes and Calipers.
Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders.
Ability to work at close tolerances.
Capability to work with minimum supervision – self-starter.
Knowledge of blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Commitment to work overtime as needed.
Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with machine tools
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift to 50 pounds and standing or walking in the work area for most of the day is a requirement of the job.
Role is deemed safety sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
Stand for up to 10 hours or more.
Perform repetitive motions throughout process.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
