As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Waverly, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity. - Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, building exteriors, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
