Description
The student, as part of the Operation Automation team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, will assist the Automation Engineer to sustain and undertake projects working on Infineon Singapore Advanced factory automation equipment and support upcoming automation projects in Infineon Advance Automation drive. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Automation Operations Support: Assist automation engineers in day-to-day operation support on factory automation equipment (AMR, Robotic, OHT, AMHS, Auto-packing Equipment, etc). Data Digitalization: Assist in the digitalization of equipment operation data for day-to-day performance monitoring. Hardware & Analytics Development: Assist in data analytics, design & development of future hardware to improve existing automation equipment. Advanced Automation Projects: Involve in Advanced Automation projects in integration, testing, performance analysis, system safety and operation run to achieve Advanced Automation. Internship Learning Outcomes: Automation Engineering Experience: Carry out day-to-day tasks of an Automation Engineer, gaining firsthand exposure to factory automation operations and workflows. Hands-On Project Participation: Aid in the performance of assignments required, building practical skills through active involvement in real engineering tasks. Advanced Factory Exposure: Gain a greater overview of automation projects in the operation of an Advanced Factory environment. Industry 4.0 Understanding: Understand the next level of manufacturing to achieve Industry 4.0, including smart systems, connected equipment, and data-driven operations. Digital & Analytical Skills: Develop competencies in data digitalization, equipment performance monitoring, and analytics tools used in modern manufacturing. Hardware Development Insight: Gain exposure to the design and development of future automation hardware and improvement initiatives for existing systems. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Educational Background: On track to attain a Bachelor's degree in Automation / Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. Personal Attributes: A self-driven individual with strong analytical ability & problem-solving skills. Team Collaboration: Enjoy working with people and coordinating tasks across teams. Technical Bonus Skills: Knowledge in Tableau / Python will be an added advantage. Preferred intake: Able to commit to 1-year internship #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
