Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) Biotech Start-up

IRUBIS is a young biotechnology start-up specializing in bioprocess monitoring. We are building a state-of-the-art spectroscopy system, Monipa, to provide our biopharma customers with real-time analysis of their bioprocesses in drug development.

As a Senior Software Engineer at IRUBIS you will develop on-device software with modern technology and improve our internal infrastructure. Apply to IRUBIS and be part of a great team that aims to revolutionize the way biopharmaceuticals are produced!

## Tasks

• Develop our full-stack application using **FastAPI** and **React/Next.js**
• Integrate **hardware components** into our software
• Improve our **Linux-Based Infrastructure**
• Develop internal tooling and automation workflows using **Ansible** and **Streamlit**
• Maintain and improve **CI/CD pipelines** with **GitHub Actions**
• **Collaborate** closely with hardware, application, and sales teams

## Requirements

• At least **2 years** of professional experience in software development
• Strong programming skills in **Python** and **TypeScript**
• Experience writing **clean, maintainable code** and **software tests**
• Solid experience with **Git** and version control workflows
• Practical experience with **CI/CD pipelines**
• Confidence working with **Linux-based systems**
• Proficiency in **English**
• Nice to Have: Experience in developing software for **physical** **hardware;** Experience with managing **infrastructure**
