We are recruiting on behalf of a prominent Western Australian organisation for an experienced finance professional to join a broad Corporate Finance function spanning financial accounting, operational treasury, reporting and analytics.

This is a 3-month temp-to-perm opportunity paying $80ph, offering the chance to step into a broad, high-impact finance role with a genuine pathway to permanency.

About the Role:

Working within a Corporate Finance team, this role combines strong financial accounting capability with hands-on operational treasury responsibilities.

You’ll take ownership across cashflow forecasting, liquidity management and treasury reporting while also contributing to statutory reporting, financial analysis, risk management and continuous improvement.

It would particularly suit a Financial Accountant or Senior Financial Accountant who has gained genuine exposure to treasury and wants a broader role than traditional month-end accounting.

The initial engagement will be a 3-month contract at $80ph, with the intention of transitioning the successful candidate into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day cashflow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Monitor debt and broader treasury requirements.
• Support banking and operational treasury activities.
• Prepare reporting and analysis for treasury governance forums.
• Engage with banks, financial institutions and external stakeholders.
• Support management of foreign exchange, interest rate and commodity exposures.
• Contribute to statutory, regulatory and financial reporting.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting processes.
• Use data and technology to enhance finance capability.

Short but Sweet:

We are seeking a technically strong finance professional with:

• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Hands-on exposure to cashflow, liquidity or operational treasury.
• CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification highly regarded.
• Experience working within a complex or governance-driven organisation.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx, OneStream or similar tools highly regarded.

Your current title is less important than the experience you bring. You may currently be working as a Financial Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant, Corporate Finance Analyst, Senior Finance Analyst or Treasury Analyst.
