Job Summary:
Acts as the strategic integrator, execution driver, and organizational amplifier for the Federal Funding Office by working side-by-side with the Federal Funding Officer to ensure alignment across safety, long-term asset strategy, investment planning, federal funding, project management, finance operations and grid strategy.Job Description:
- Manages the executive portfolio of strategic initiatives by coordinating priorities across multiple directors, monitoring milestones, identifying dependencies, and ensuring executive objectives remain aligned with organizational goals.
- Serves as the primary contact for executive-level initiatives by translating leadership direction into executable work plans, tracking deliverables, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration across business units.
- Maintains executive performance metrics, operational reports, and governance trackers that provide executive leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable business intelligence.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives targeting operational maturity — including workforce planning, safety culture, and rework reduction — to advance key organizational priorities and business goals, resulting in measurable improvements in execution consistency and performance.
- Prepare executive briefs, board materials, regulatory updates, and public-facing reports by partnering with business units and data & analytics teams to ensure operational intelligence is accurate, timely, and actionable, resulting in clear, data-driven communication that strengthens stakeholder understanding and trust.
- Ensure the Federal Funding office is prepared for key engagements by developing data-driven insights and scenario analysis, resulting in informed, high-impact participation in critical strategic and operational discussions.
- Manage the Federal Funding Office operating rhythm, --including strategic planning sessions, governance forums, and interdepartmental reviews— to maintain organizational alignment and decision-making continuity across the enterprise.
- Develops and monitors strategic plans, performance metrics, and executive reporting to drive business results and continuous improvement, while identifying risks, bottlenecks, and gaps across planning and execution, recommending mitigation strategies, resulting in more disciplined and proactive organizational performance management.
- Leads communication streams governance activities and change management initiatives while driving a culture of radical transparency and operational discipline, resulting in organizational clarity, reduced rework, and improved accountability across the company.
- Champions and models enterprise-wide adherence to governance, compliance, and ethical standards while fostering a workplace culture rooted in diversity, safety, fairness, open communication, and the highest levels of ethical behavior to uphold organizational integrity and regulatory alignment.
- Leads and supports organizational strategies for the restoration of critical services and emergency preparedness to ensure business continuity and community trust.
- Embraces and leads additional strategic responsibilities as needed to advance enterprise objectives and organizational resilience.
Additional Job Description:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree business administration, project management, industrial/organizational psychology, public administration)
Experience
- 12 years of experience in similar functional role, with responsibilities of leading transformational projects, strategic initiatives enterprise-wide, governance, stakeholder management, with at least 6 years progressive experience in a senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
- Experience driving alignment across senior leadership and multifunctional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
- Experience working with workflows design and project management for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Additional education may substitute for the required experience when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 10 years of experience performing related functions and at least 4 years of progressive experience in senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
- Doctor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 6 years of experience performing related functions and with progressive experience in senior leadership role leading enterprise-level initiatives and influencing cross-functional senior stakeholders.
