Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated candidate who is eager to learn and expand their analytical and communication skills, while providing day-to-day support for Sales and Trading teams in Financing Solutions.
Great learning opportunity to get immersed in Financing Solutions, working closely with Sales and Trading teams! In-office presence is required.
The Front Office Trading Services (FOTS) team provides support across the globe (North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific) for State Street Market’s Sales & Trading Desks and acts as the primary liaison for external and internal clients. In addition to trading support and client services, the team works closely with Operations groups and participates in projects related to new trading initiatives, platform onboarding, integration, testing and implementation planning.

What you will be responsible for
As Front Office Trading Services team member you will:
Partner with Sales & Trading to support financing transactions and post-trade lifecycle events across Prime Services and Secured Financing products.
Manage and oversee key financing activities including returns, recalls, buy-ins, contract compare, corporate actions, collateral-related inquiries, trade matching, novation processes, and settlement monitoring to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the Front Office and Operations, proactively monitoring daily processes, resolving breaks, managing escalations, and coordinating issue resolution across trading, operations, technology, finance, collateral risk, and external counterparties.
Monitor trade activity, settlements, and financing positions to identify exceptions, mitigate operational risk, and ensure transactions are properly booked, matched, novated, and settled within required market deadlines.
Support corporate action processing across physical and synthetic financing positions by partnering with Trading, Operations, and Corporate Actions teams to ensure accurate allocation and client impact management.
Manage onboarding activities for new borrower accounts, coordinating with internal stakeholders to facilitate account setup, trading readiness, and operational support requirements.
Respond to client, broker, and internal inquiries related to financing transactions, settlements, collateral discrepancies, position management, and other trade-related matters while providing exceptional client service.
Perform reconciliations and data quality reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of trade, position, collateral, and financing records, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Produce and distribute client and management reporting, including financing activity, collateral, fee and rebate, pledged collateral, exception management, and bespoke client reporting requests.
Partner with Trading desks to monitor financing inventory, borrows, loans, returns, and other financing activity to ensure adherence to settlement obligations and client commitments.
Act as a subject matter expert for Financing Solutions processes and controls, participating in strategic initiatives, business change programs, new product implementations, audits, regulatory reviews, testing efforts, and process improvement projects.
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance controls, improve data quality, and drive operational efficiencies through collaboration with Technology, Business Analysis, Operations, Credit Risk, Compliance, and other business partners.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve issues, improve service delivery, and support business growth initiatives.
Adhere to all business controls, policies, and operational procedures, ensuring risks are effectively managed and regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements are consistently met.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
7+ financial services industry and exposure to secure lending, prime services or agency lending
Client facing experience is preferred but not required
Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills
Additional requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Very strong attention to detail
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and CoPilot – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $140,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
