The Technical Project Manager, E2 supports the planning and execution of cross-functional software projects within a semiconductor environment. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining schedules, tracking risks and dependencies, and helping drive delivery of software initiatives that support semiconductor products, platforms, tools, or embedded systems. The Technical Project Manager works closely with engineering, product, quality, and operations teams to ensure projects remain aligned to technical requirements and business priorities. Proficiency with Agile software development is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end planning and execution of software projects in support of semiconductor products and development initiatives. Help define project scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource needs in collaboration with engineering leads and business stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across software engineering, hardware engineering, validation, quality, product management, and operations to support successful project delivery. Track project progress, identify risks, manage dependencies, and escalate issues in a timely manner across project workstreams.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies to maintain team alignment and execution momentum. Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, dashboards, action logs, and status reports to communicate progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.
  • Partner with technical teams to develop an understanding of architecture, development constraints, integration points, and release requirements. Support software development lifecycle activities, including requirements tracking, development planning, validation coordination, release readiness, and change control.
  • Drive clear communication among internal teams and external partners where applicable. Promote process consistency, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle while ensuring execution aligns with organizational standards and business goals.

Functional Knowledge

Impact

Impacts execution of assigned projects or workstreams through effective coordination, schedule management, risk visibility, and stakeholder communication. Contributes to release readiness, team alignment, and delivery performance within a defined scope.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Experience supporting or managing technical or software development projects in a semiconductor, embedded software, or related engineering environment.
  • Working knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, project scheduling, risk tracking, and cross-functional execution.
  • Proficiency with Agile software development methodologies and experience participating in or facilitating Agile team ceremonies and delivery planning. Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in semiconductor product development, embedded systems, firmware, or platform software environments.
