Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Distribution Manager, based in Mexico City (MEX).
This professional will act as a senior commercial leader accountable for approximately 50% of portfolio volume and 40% of business revenue and margin across Northern Latin America (Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela).
The role is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for a predominantly distributor-led business model, driving sustainable growth, profitable market expansion, channel effectiveness, and customer penetration through a network of strategic distribution partners.
As the most senior individual contributor within the sales organization, this position has significant influence on regional business outcomes and strategic direction. The role requires exceptional commercial leadership, strong market insight, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders to deliver sustainable and profitable growth across the region.
This position serves as the most senior individual contributor within the sales organization and is considered a potential succession pipeline for future commercial leadership roles.
Required Experience:
Commercial Experience
15+ years of progressive commercial and business experience.
Preferred: experience in B2B industrial or chemical markets.
Distributor Management
8 a 10+ years of direct distributor/channel management experience.
Proven success growing revenue, volume, and profitability through distribution networks.
Experience developing, restructuring, and optimizing distributor ecosystems.
Chemical Industry Experience
8+ years in chemical, petrochemical, polymers, solvents, intermediates, or related industrial markets.
Strong understanding of commodity-based business models and market cycles.
Regional / International Experience
8+ years managing commercial activities across multiple Latin American countries.
Experience leading regional commercial strategies and influence stakeholders in multicultural and complex business environments
Business Management
Demonstrated responsibility for a significant business portfolio, including revenue, margin, working capital, and growth objectives.
Experience managing large-volume, strategic accounts and regional agreements.
