ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles, reviews and analyzes financial activity management reports and takes action with appropriate internal/external contacts.
- Supervises assigned team members serving multiple clients and provides technical direction regarding recoveries/refunds and overpayment administration, including maintenance of an effective relationship with client-preferred collection agencies.
- Establishes and maintains contact with new and existing clients; collaborates with management to determine program enhancements for existing clients based on identified trends; implements agreed upon process changes; creates and revises client-specific communications; and participates in meetings for new client implementations.
- Identifies and advises management of trends, problems, and issues as well as recommended course of action; informs management of new procedures and ideas for continuous process improvement; and coordinates with management to complete projects in timely matter.
- Serves as subject matter expert and resolves escalated issues as required.
- Prepares and reviews the development of the annual W2 adjustment reports; and oversees the creation, processing and mailing of the annual W2 adjustment and tax credit letters.
- Performs quality review on calculations relating to Social Security or underpayments in compliance with audit requirements, service contract requirements, and quality standards,
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred.
Experience
Six (6) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years experience in financial services or overpayment recovery environment. Claims management experience preferred.
