Description
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
- Analyse financial performance against budgets, forecasts, and KPIs
- Provide financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Monitor revenue, costs, margins, and overall business performance
- Prepare regular financial reports and management information
- Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities
- Support financial modelling and commercial decision-making
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Work closely with operational teams to improve financial performance
- Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants and auditors where required
- Contribute to improving finance processes and reporting systems
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role
- Strong understanding of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Commercially aware with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insight
- Strong Excel and financial reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within healthcare, social care, or a multi-site environment is desirable
- Relevant accounting qualification or part-qualified status is desirable
- Salary up to £60,000 DOE
