Solution Architect – Workload Automation
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to drive end-to-end system design for a workload automation platform, from POC to full-scale enterprise deployment. The ideal candidate should have strong architecture experience with distributed systems and open-source technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Own end-to-end solution architecture, including POC and target-state deployment.
Design scalable, resilient workload automation solutions using open-source technologies.
Define architecture covering integrations, data flows, security, availability and observability.
Provide technical leadership and collaborate with global engineering and DevOps teams.
Create architecture diagrams, design documents, ADRs and technical roadmaps.
Define deployment strategies, CI/CD practices and operational readiness.
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Solution/System Architecture or equivalent senior engineering roles with architecture ownership.
Strong experience in workload automation.
Hands-on or design-level expertise in Kubernetes, Kafka and Airflow (or similar orchestration tools).
Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices and APIs.
Knowledge of system design, scalability, security, resiliency and performance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with global teams.
Good to Have:
DevOps, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
Testing strategies and non-functional testing.
Linux, PostgreSQL and other open-source technologies.
Production monitoring, logging and observability.
