Description
Your mission
The software you build sits between thousands of security researchers and the companies that rely on them. Every submission on our platform is a real risk that could impact real people. You are part of making the internet a safer place.
We are currently changing the way we work. Smaller teams with complete ownership over their part of our strategy. AI agents will do most of the boring stuff, with engineers focusing on what matters: deciding on what to build, why it matters and how to build it.
You’ll be onboarding into our “Get Sh*t Done” team. This team is responsible for shipping strategic initiatives directly related to closing potential prospects and keeping our current customers happy. At the same time, you will be part of shaping our AI-native way of developing.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning products. You'll be directly in the lead for areas of our platform, collaborating with a Product Manager and Designer. You're expected to have and share your own opinion about what we should build. You talk and listen to customers, researchers and internal users directly, watch how features are actually used, and decide with your team what to ship next. You can name your users and explain why they'd care.
- Shipping fast and small. Get a minimum lovable version into production, measure it and then iterate. Descope ruthlessly. Writing the docs and demoing your work to the company is part of shipping.
- Building with AI as your default. You use coding agents to explore codebases, prototype, write tests and ship. You know where they're brilliant, where they confidently lie, and how to set up your context, prompts and review loop so they make you faster, not sloppier. You support the team in getting better at it too.
- Going deep. Our architecture (event-driven, CQRS, distributed) throws up hard problems in performance, scale and consistency. AI can help you read and test faster, but you're the one who has to truly understand the system and own the fix.
- Keeping production healthy. Senior engineers rotate as Production Hero of the Week: watching production, leading incident response with our Site Reliability Engineers, and helping customers and internal teams.
- Raising the bar. You mentor and support others through honest, constructive feedback, code reviews and leading by example.
What you’ll bring
- Care more about the outcome than the code. You get excited when a metric moves or a customer says "finally!”.
- Have taken things from 0 to 1. A side project, a startup, an internal tool… You've built something people use.
- Are AI-native, not AI-curious. AI tools are part of how you work every day.
- Have a fix-it mentality. You don't wait for someone else. You crack your knuckles and dig in.
- Keep it real. You share your opinion, especially when it goes against your peers or your manager, but you follow the data where it leads.
- Need to know how things work. "I guess it just works" is never enough for you. You’re committed to exploring boldly.
- Think like an attacker. You care about security, and you know that code generated in seconds can introduce vulnerabilities just as fast. You'd rather catch it in review than see it in a report on our own platform.
Must-haves
- You've shipped and owned production software at scale as a senior engineer, ideally in a product company.
- You have strong engineering fundamentals. You know your way around system design and data modelling.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and monitoring, CI/CD, infrastructure as code.
- Comfort with distributed, event-driven systems.
- Deliberate use of AI coding tools with clear judgement on their output.
Nice to have
- Experience with C# / .NET and Angular.
- Experience with CQRS, event-sourcing and DDD.
- Background in cybersecurity or bug bounty.
