Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Reception Security in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while supporting a secure environment. You will greet visitors, manage access, observe activity, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with care and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide a professional, customer-focused presence at the front desk of a financial services location, following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal policies.
• Greet visitors, employees, and vendors; verify identification, manage visitor registration, and direct individuals according to established access procedures.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and available security-related systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying designated contacts.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident documentation while providing courteous assistance and protecting confidential information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
