General Summary:
Detailed Project Description
1\. Participate in the development and optimization of Generative AI inference runtime (Genie) and AI co‑processors, improving large‑model execution efficiency on edge and embedded platforms.
2\. Develop and maintain core modules of the GenAI Runtime, including model execution flows, resource scheduling, and runtime tools.
3\. Support deployment and tuning of large language models (LLMs) and multimodal models on edge platforms, optimizing performance, memory footprint, and stability.
4\. Assist in analyzing and resolving issues encountered during Generative AI runtime execution, supporting successful model and application enablement.
5\. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive adoption of Generative AI inference technologies in platform‑level scenarios.
Skills / Experience Required
1\. Familiar with deployment methodologies for large models (LLM / LVM), with strong hands‑on engineering and coding capabilities.
2\. Proficient in Android / Linux development environments and commonly used debugging tools.
3\. Understanding of performance and memory optimization strategies in resource‑constrained environments.
4\. Proficient in C++, with working experience in at least one of Java or Python.
5\. Hands‑on experience with AI inference runtimes, AI acceleration, or edge AI deployment.
6\. Experience with Qualcomm NPU deployment and development is a strong plus.
Education Requirements
Degree Major, GPA, CoursesMS in Electrical engineering, Electrical and Computer engineering, or Computer Science, MS preferred. Work experience: 1–3 years.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
