Description
The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy for Naples Grande Beach Resort. This position oversees brand management, public relations, digital marketing, content development, partnerships, advertising, and demand generation initiatives designed to increase awareness, increase direct booking production, and support revenue growth across all resort business segments. The Director of Marketing serves as a key commercial leader and strategic partner to Resort Operations, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Sales leadership while ensuring all marketing initiatives align with the resort's luxury positioning and business objectives.
Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Develop and execute annual marketing and communications plans aligned with resort revenue goals.
- Lead integrated marketing strategies supporting group, leisure, catering, spa, and food & beverage business segments.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, consumer trends, and competitive positioning strategies.
- Manage annual marketing budgets and allocate resources to maximize return on investment.
Brand Management
- Serve as the steward of the Naples Grande Beach Resort brand.
- Ensure consistent messaging, visual identity, and guest experience across all channels.
- Protect and enhance the resort's luxury market positioning.
- Maintain compliance with brand standards and management company guidelines.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
- Oversee website strategy, search engine optimization, digital advertising, email marketing, and social media initiatives.
- Monitor digital performance metrics including website traffic, conversion rates, direct booking production, and campaign ROI.
- Collaborate with agency partners and vendors to optimize digital marketing performance.
- Identify opportunities to increase direct channel revenue and reduce dependency on third-party distribution.
Public Relations & Communications
- Develop and execute annual public relations strategy.
- Build relationships with media, influencers, tourism partners, and community stakeholders.
- Manage press releases, media visits, crisis communications, and reputation management efforts.
- Represent the resort in community and industry organizations as appropriate.
Content & Creative Development
- Direct creation of photography, video, website content, collateral materials, advertising assets, and social media campaigns.
- Ensure marketing materials accurately reflect the resort experience and luxury positioning.
- Maintain an annual content calendar to support business objectives.
Commercial Collaboration
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Sales, and Operations teams to support occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and ancillary revenue goals.
- Develop promotional campaigns and packages that drive profitable business.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share within key leisure and group segments.
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, develop, and mentor marketing team members.
- Establish performance objectives, accountability standards, and professional development plans.
- Manage agency relationships, creative vendors, photographers, designers, and other external partners.
Reporting & Analytics
- Measure and report marketing effectiveness through established KPIs.
- Analyze campaign performance and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on marketing performance, brand initiatives, and commercial results.
