The Position

Semi Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Semi-Truck Driver to support our operations in Quincy, WA

Drives gasoline and/or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver crude from the quarry to the plant and waste material from the plant to the quarry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts a pre-trip inspection and submits report indicating truck condition.

• Drives truck to destination.

• Loads truck with a front-end loader.

• Unloads truck at plant site.

• Hauls waste as directed.

• Does minor maintenance such as changing flat tires, adjusting brakes, etc.

• Drives water truck.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

• A minimum of one (1) year of semi-truck driving experience.

• Must possess a Driver’s License with a CDL. Tanker endorsement preferred.

• Standard First Aid card and adult CPR card is preferred.

• Must have the ability to operate a front-end loader.                                                                                             

• Ability to work independently and as a team player.                                                                                                  

• Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

• Ability to perform operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

• This position requires frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds. 

Compensation: $34.08 / hour plus quarterly manufacturing incentive bonus.
