As Controller, you'll lead accounting and finance control activities for our São Paulo business. Reporting to the Latam Controller with a doted line to Local CFO. You'll partner with the local accounting team and colleagues across Treasury, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate Accounting to support accurate reporting, tax compliance and strategic priorities. You'll also contribute to long term financial planning and provide insight that supports daily decisions.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the local accounting team and work closely with the corporate accounting team to keep processes aligned.
- Guarantee tax and statutory obligations are met, including revenue recognition, tax reporting, transfer pricing analysis, and related payments.
- Review payroll calculations and statutory items.
- Oversee corporate reporting and support compliance with local and external requirements.
- Implement and monitor SOX controls, and help ensure corporate accounting policies are followed.
- Prepare management reports that give clear visibility into revenue, expenses, assets, bad debts, collections, accounts payable, and debt.
- Support long term financial planning and budgeting to help guide business decisions.
About you
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Specialization in finance and accounting.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- More than five years of experience in similar roles, ideally within multinational companies and preferably in the financial sector.
- 100% bilingual in English and Portuguese. Spanish is desirable.
- Experience with tax compliance, revenue recognition, tax reporting, transfer pricing, payroll review, statutory benefits, and legal profit sharing calculations.
- Experience reviewing corporate reporting, supporting compliance requirements, and working with SOX controls.
- Experience leading a team and work with senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
- Experience in multinational companies, ideally from the financial sector.
