What You’ll Experience

What You’ll Do:
As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our electrical systems. You’ll apply your technical expertise to support both day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure planning.
Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems
Lead and support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts for critical electrical infrastructure
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and operational improvements
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and maintenance procedures
Provide engineering support for root cause analysis, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance performance and efficiency
What You’ll Bring:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Preferred: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE certification
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
Experience with power systems, including low and medium voltage distribution, UPS systems, and generators
Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
