Position Overview
We are seeking a Fleet Planning & Cost Analyst Supervisor to support national
transportation operations. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on dispatch
responsibilities. The Analyst will be responsible for linehaul network design, carrier bidding,
cost analysis, and dispatch planning to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective freight
transportation nationwide.
Responsibilities
Support national linehaul dispatch planning, including route design, scheduling, and
capacity allocation.
Develop and maintain the national fleet capacity model, providing forecasts and peak
season plans.
Lead or support carrier bidding processes; establish and manage the approved carrier
pool.
Analyze transportation costs (CPM, utilization, empty miles) and identify optimization
opportunities.
Prepare regular reports on cost performance, service levels, and capacity planning for
management.
Coordinate with Fleet Operations to ensure plans are executed effectively nationwide.
Maintain accurate planning documents, bidding records, and cost analysis reports.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall efficiency and reliability of
the fleet network.
