How you will make an impact as a Home Health Aide

• Support patient recovery enabling patients to stay in their homes, spend quality time with their loved ones and continue the activities they enjoy
• Provide care, comfort, and companionship as you help patients on their healing journey
• Enhance the quality of someone’s life every day

Home Health Aide Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant highly preferred.
• In states where licensure is not required (AL, FL, MI, MT, NM, TX), applicants must meet one of the following:
  • They are already a licensed/certified aide; or
  • They have completed a state-approved nurse aide training program AND have been continuously employed in that capacity for the previous 24 months
• Current CPR certification required.

State Specific Requirements

Indiana

• Aides required to be registered on the Indiana Nurse Aide Registry, licensure is not required.

Kansas

• Aide certified required to practice in the state.

Oklahoma

• Certification required within 4 months of employment as a home health or home care aide.

Wisconsin

• Aides required to be certified and listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry.
