Description
EA Talent Solutions has been engaged by an established heavy civil construction firm—with a strong track record delivering new construction and capital upgrade projects across New York City’s infrastructure landscape—to recruit a Construction Project Manager for their operation in the Bronx, NY.
This is an excellent onsite opportunity for a developing project manager ready to work directly under a Senior Project Manager and take real ownership across every phase of a project. The ideal candidate is organized, technically fluent, and comfortable moving between the office and the field. This is a hands-on role in a busy, deadline-driven environment—well suited to someone who wants exposure to the full project lifecycle and the runway to grow into a senior leadership seat.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and managing all phases of new construction and capital upgrade projects.
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, engineers, and field crews to keep work on schedule and on budget.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
- Monitor daily progress, identify risks early, and help resolve field issues as they arise.
- Support quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
- Prepare progress reports and updates for senior leadership and clients.
- Help maintain accurate project records, schedules, and as-built documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience assisting on heavy civil or infrastructure construction projects.
- Hands-on proficiency required with: HeavyBid (HCSS), Agtek, Primavera P6, MS Project, InSite (earthwork/takeoff), and MicroStation.
- Solid understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and project coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple concurrent priorities.
- Effective communicator who works well with field and office teams.
- Comfortable working onsite, full-time; strong attendance and physical presence expected.
Compensation
Base salary range is $120,000 – $150,000 depending on experience.
