MIS / IT Manager

About the Role

Our client, a well-established organization with a multi-branch retail operation, is looking for an experienced MIS / IT Manager to lead its IT operations and technology functions.

The role will oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, network operations, cybersecurity, IT service delivery, and technology projects. The successful candidate will work closely with business leaders, vendors, and internal teams to ensure reliable systems, efficient IT operations, and continuous technology improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the company's IT infrastructure, network, servers, cloud services, and branch connectivity.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of critical business systems, including ERP, POS, inventory, HRIS, and other enterprise applications.
• Manage enterprise systems, system integrations, user access, system enhancements, testing, and implementation.
• Oversee IT service delivery, technical support, incident management, and issue resolution across branches and departments.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity, data privacy, access management, backup, and disaster recovery practices.
• Oversee IT projects, digital transformation initiatives, system integration, workflow automation, and technology improvements.
• Support data management, reporting, business intelligence, and automation initiatives.
• Manage IT assets, software licenses, technology vendors, service providers, and IT-related budgets.
• Evaluate and recommend technology solutions aligned with business requirements and operational needs.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the MIS, IT, and Network teams, ensuring effective performance and service delivery.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to address business and technology requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT/MIS operations, systems administration, infrastructure management, or enterprise application support.
• Preferably 3 years or more of supervisory or managerial experience leading technical teams.
• Experience in retail, distribution, warehousing, or multi-branch operations is highly preferred.
• Experience managing ERP systems, preferably SAP, and POS integrations is highly desirable.
• Background in cybersecurity, business continuity, IT project management, system integration, or digital transformation is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, enterprise systems, database/SQL, cybersecurity, cloud services, IT service management, and backup/disaster recovery.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, vendor management, and communication skills.
