Where You’ll Make a Difference

• Coordinate with global reporting units to collect and manage lease-related documentation, including new leases, renewals, extensions, amendments, and terminations.
• Review and interpret lease agreements and supporting documents to extract relevant data and accurately maintain records in the Lease Accelerator (SAP-based lease accounting system).
• Ensure lease data and documentation are complete, accurate, and up to date, identifying and resolving missing or inconsistent information.
• Prepare and communicate monthly lease accounting journal entries to site locations for local posting and financial reporting purposes.
• Perform monthly lease accounting reconciliations, including payment clearing accounts, and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to address reconciliation variances and ensure compliance with lease accounting requirements.
• Prepare quarterly lease accounting reports and disclosures to support financial and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements, system optimization, cost savings, and strengthened internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits, maintain effective controls, and contribute to the efficient operation of the centralized lease accounting function.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Qualified Accountant with CMA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA, or M.Com, supported by a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Lease Accounting and Record-to-Report (RTR) processes within a shared services, corporate, or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and lease accounting standards.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify variances.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate complex issues, and drive timely investigation and resolution of accounting matters.
• Experience working with lease accounting systems and tools, including strong knowledge of CoStar and related lease management platforms.
• Proficiency in ERP and financial systems, with a continuous improvement mindset and a focus on accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
