What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Salesforce Solution Architect, you will be at the heart of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Translate business needs and functional, non-functional and technical requirements into robust architecture solutions, and ensure deliverables comply with the established design.
• Design and evolve solutions across system, technology and organizational dimensions, including integration, development, security, performance, availability, cloud computing and mobility.
• Lead solution reviews and propose, review and approve architecture decisions in accordance with the company’s frameworks, standards and guidelines.
• Ensure solutions are aligned and integrated across the various technology ecosystems, anticipate potential issues and propose pragmatic workarounds.
• Ensure the integrity and quality of end-to-end solutions, from design through delivery, including overseeing implementation and validating requirements against test results.
• Ensure technology solutions are aligned with strategic objectives and contribute to process optimization by proposing evolution and simplification scenarios.
• Provide multidisciplinary leadership to designers, analysts, developers, collaborators and external vendors involved in solution delivery.
• Contribute to project success by facilitating the management of timelines, scope and budget.
• Maintain the traceability of architecture decisions, certify technical documentation and ensure permanent documentation is kept up to date.
• Ensure the organization’s architecture methods and processes are applied and, in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture, ensure compliance with established guidelines, standards, tools and methods.
• Act as the application owner within the enterprise repository and ensure the accuracy of information related to the applications and technologies under your responsibility.
• Continuously monitor architecture trends and recommend approaches that support the evolution of solutions while complying with the company’s standards and guidelines.

What could accelerate your success in this role

We are looking for someone who:

• Is recognized for their leadership with multidisciplinary teams, their ability to communicate and explain complex issues clearly, and their strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Stands out for their knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem, particularly Financial Services Cloud and Data 360, as well as their understanding of cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, and MuleSoft. Knowledge of Marketing Cloud and Agentforce is considered a strong asset.
• Demonstrates a strong ability to manage multiple dimensions of complex initiatives simultaneously and thrive in contexts involving ambiguity, uncertainty and frequent change, while demonstrating proficiency with architecture frameworks and practices such as TOGAF, Zachman, SDLC, DevOps, Agile, MVP, LEAN and ITIL.
• Is recognized for their expertise in designing high-volume, high-availability applications and systems. Experience in digital transformation and large-scale projects, as well as knowledge of the financial services and insurance industry, are considered assets.
• Has 12 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years as an architecture professional, as well as a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business computing, information systems, computer or software engineering, mathematics, or another relevant field of study at an equivalent level.
• Has an intermediate level of proficiency in French and an advanced level of proficiency in English, as the person in this role will be required to communicate and collaborate daily, both verbally and in writing, with English-speaking partners, teams and stakeholders across Canada.

The typical hiring range for this position starts at CAD $120,000 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience and internal equity related to the position.
