Power System Studies Engineer -Senior

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Identify optimal strategy for project interconnection to the grid based on system impacts and assessing grid capacity; develop best plan for interconnection.
2. Support business development activities.
3. Work on interconnection projects, including modeling, due diligence, interconnection analysis.
4. Perform and review generation interconnection project-specific studies using various power system software such as PowerWorld Simulator/PSSE/PSLF.
5. Evaluate available capacity for transmission lines and substations.
6. .   Interact with Clients to seek input and address their needs and concerns with respect to the project(s) under study. 
7. Contribute to Knowledge base of the organization and development of innovative study approaches/techniques.
8. Attend and participate in meetings and conferences on engineering and technical issues and report key findings

Qualification:

1. Min 3-8 years professional experience in Power Systems studies.
2. Master's Degree in preferred.
3. Specialization in Power and Energy Systems is preferred.
4. Team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
5. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
6. Capable of managing multiple tasks, projects, and resources.
7. Flexible with the ability to manage change.
