Join our team at Waythrough and support people facing challenges around mental health, substance use, housing or domestic abuse. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to build meaningful relationships and create lasting change.

About the Role

As a Recovery Worker, you will support people to achieve their personal goals, improve their quality of life and develop the skills needed to live more independently. • Maintain accurate, timely and confidential records in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
  • Assess and manage risks, following safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure effective support.
  • Contribute to team meetings, handovers and the safe day-to-day running of services.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and uphold organisational values and the Code of Conduct.

What We’re Looking For

  • A person-centred and compassionate approach to supporting individuals.
  • The ability to encourage independence, choice and active participation.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • An understanding of safeguarding, risk management, confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • The ability to maintain accurate records and follow organisational policies and procedures.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to working with colleagues and external agencies.
  • A commitment to promoting wellbeing, inclusion, dignity and independence.
