Cluster Cards & Payments delivers modern, secure, and customer-focused card and payment products and services across digital channels. Our main focus is on solutions that enable private customers to manage their cards, make payments, and conveniently access payment-related services online.

Using modern application technologies, APIs, and digital banking platforms, we develop and integrate card and payment functionalities within the Cross Channel Banking environment. We ensure that our solutions are reliable, secure, and provide a seamless customer experience across channels.

Within Cluster Cards & Payments, our development teams create new digital products, frontends, modules, and interfaces that directly support the Bank’s card and payment offering. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and application operations experts to deliver efficient and customer-oriented solutions.

As a Business Expert, you will develop concepts and shape the vision of applications based on customer needs, stakeholder expectations, and the Bank’s strategic guidelines. You will define product features and communicate decisions transparently within the team.

You will also take end-to-end ownership of the business requirements and delivery related to the IT applications within your area of responsibility. In addition, you will ensure compliance with Commerzbank’s regulatory and legal standards, continuously develop products in line with customer needs, incorporate the latest regulatory, technological, and market trends, and contribute to strategic projects.

• Analyzing, translating and claryfing buisness requirements
• Analyzing infrastructure requirements
• Supporting and coordinating application testing
• Participating in meetings, workshops, and technical/business discussions
• Managing communication with stakeholders and requestors
• Developing business concepts and documenting requirements
• Managing requirements in an Agile environment

What is important to us? 👌

• Strong skills in understanding and analyzing current and target-state business requirements, including gathering and documenting requirements and designing functional solutions / IT concepts
• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector
• Good understanding of best practices related to API implementation and the design of modern GUIs, in line with current market trends and requirements
• Experience with tools used for collaboration, task management, work organization, documentation, knowledge management, and reporting, such as Jira and Confluence
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including pods, containers, OpenShift, and cloud infrastructure zones
• Understanding of processes related to job automation, performance tuning, application monitoring, and issue resolution
• Fluent German and English
