Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support the verification of authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
