The Campaign Manager is a multi-disciplinary role responsible for quality assurance, compliance liaison, process governance, and campaign trafficking across Mohegan Digital's CRM function. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on content and lifecycle marketing background, allowing them to catch errors not just procedurally but because they understand what good copy, creative, and campaign mechanics look like from having built them.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to:
Quality Assurance
- Review all outbound CRM communications for copy accuracy and clarity, creative alignment, link integrity, personalization tokens, offer mechanics, and terms completeness
- Conduct pre-development feasibility reviews on proposed campaign mechanics, including whether the promotion is compliant, operationally viable, and executable before strategy invests development time
- Own final QA sign-off on all campaign builds before send
Compliance
- Serve as CRM's internal compliance liaison, coordinating with Mohegan's compliance team on behalf of the CRM function, routing reviews, tracking approvals, and ensuring feedback is actioned
- Review disclaimer and terms copy for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain working knowledge of regulatory requirements as they apply to promotional communications and escalate issues appropriately
- Ensure all creative assets and copy meet jurisdictional standards before deployment
Process & Workflow Governance
- Develop CRM workflow standards within Asana, ensuring briefs, approvals, and sign-offs follow the established campaign flow at every phase
- Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and recurring failure points and develop solutions, building and improving workflow tools, templates, and tracking systems
- Maintain process documentation and ensure the team has clear, current reference materials for campaign execution standards
- Track campaign status across strategy and operations, flagging delays or handoff breakdowns before they impact deployment timelines
- Explore and implement AI-powered tools and workflows to streamline campaign management , from automated QA checks and brief validation to process tracking and documentation, continuously evolving the team's operational capabilities
Campaign Trafficking
- Manage the internal flow of campaigns from concept through deployment, ensuring assets, copy, terms, and approvals move between strategy, creative, operations, and product on schedule
- Coordinate creative asset delivery, tracking outputs against briefs and confirming all required sizes and placements are accounted for
- Package and verify all campaign deliverables are complete before handoff to operations for build
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide content and copy feedback during the QA process, not just checking for errors but identifying opportunities to strengthen messaging, clarity, and player experience
- Support the development of modular terms and compliance language templates in SharePoint
- Contribute to post-campaign audits, documenting lessons learned and identifying systemic QA or process issues for resolution
- Collaborate with BI on verifying promotional mechanics are tracking and reporting correctly post-launch
Minimum Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, content marketing, or marketing operations
- Demonstrated QA experience, reviewing campaigns, communications, or content for accuracy and quality prior to deployment
- Hands-on content or copy background —writing, editing, or producing marketing communications, not just reviewing them
- Experience developing or managing marketing workflows, process documentation, or project management systems
- Experience writing or reviewing promotional terms, disclaimers, or compliance-adjacent copy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track multiple concurrent campaigns across teams and jurisdictions without dropping details
- Proficiency with project management and workflow tools
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products and applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in iGaming, online casino, sports betting, or a similarly regulated industry
- Lifecycle marketing experience spanning both content strategy and CRM execution, understanding the full campaign arc from concept through deployment
- Experience working with compliance or legal teams to develop and review promotional content for regulated markets
- Background building process infrastructure from scratch, including workflow tools, tracking systems, operational templates
- Cross-industry marketing experience (media, entertainment, e-commerce, sports) bringing a broader perspective to content quality and campaign standards
- Familiarity with capabilities and limitations of ESP platforms
Competencies:
- Content-literate, understanding what good marketing communications look like because they've produced them, not just reviewed them
- Process-minded without being inflexible, able to hold standards while adapting to the pace of a live campaign calendar
- Clear, direct communicator across strategy, operations, creative, and compliance stakeholders
- Comfortable operating independently with a reporting line to senior leadership and practical working relationships across multiple teams
- Proactive problem-solver, identifying issues before they reach deployment rather than reacting after the fact
- Thorough understanding of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment and contracting
Training Requirements:
- Mohegan corporate and departmental policies and procedures
- Jurisdictional regulatory requirements
- ESP and CRM platform training as applicable
