Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of a 1-year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine or 1 year of relevant clinical experience within the past 4 years.
- Current, active, unrestricted U.S. psychologist license.
- No additional certifications required beyond Basic Life Support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose using DSM criteria.
- Provide individual and group therapy; support patients coping with medical conditions or injuries.
- Assist with patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care.
- Maintain productivity standards, accurate documentation, and use of clinical systems (e.g., MHS Genesis).
- Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training.
- Support Family Advocacy Program requirements.
- Attend required trainings and meetings; pursue continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk management standards.
