Commercial Litigation Attorney

A growing and well-respected law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters involving construction disputes, real estate litigation, and oil & gas matters in a collaborative and mentorship-focused environment.

The firm is looking for a motivated attorney in the 2–4 year experience range who is eager to develop their litigation skills and build a long-term career with the potential for partnership down the road.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with all phases of commercial litigation from case inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery and reviewing documents
• Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
• Work closely with partners and senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding case progress and legal strategy

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of litigation experience, ideally within commercial litigation
• Experience with construction disputes, real estate litigation, or oil & gas matters is preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced legal environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Licensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar

Compensation & Opportunity:

• Salary range: $160,000 – $170,000, depending on experience
