The Product Development Assistant supports the Product Development Team to ensure the successful execution of TravisMathew product. This position will give the opportunity to learn more about the life-cycle of TM products in various categories such as apparel and accessories.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure development tracking reports are updated in PLM system. Track receipts.
- Receive and process packages. Communicate to team the status of shipments and receipts.
- Spec and evaluate samples as they are received in support of the Product Development team.
- Perform daily communications with vendors and suppliers both overseas and domestically.
- Support product development team from proto stage to final production approval.
- Support the development process per established company calendar.
- Assist with input and updates to the PLM / Centric system.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Collaboration Skills
- Communication Proficiency
- Organizational Skills
- Ability to prioritize and be a self-starter.
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
- Knowledge of garment measurements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Some college preferred
