Role Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of projects following contract award, ensuring delivery in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety standards. This role serves as the primary interface between internal cross-functional teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Services, and Software) and external stakeholders (clients, EPCs, and contractors), ensuring successful project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Within the EMEA region, the Senior Project Manager oversees the full lifecycle of assigned projects and customer accounts ensuring best-in-class service delivery across all company solutions and associated services.
The role includes full ownership of project and account performance, encompassing financial management (P&L control, margin protection, and cash collection), coordination of logistics and supply chain activities, and alignment of interdepartmental teams to meet project milestones. The Senior Project Manager also ensures strict adherence to HSE and quality standards on-site, while proactively identifying risks and driving mitigation and recovery actions.
Additionally, the Project Manager acts as a strong advocate for customer needs within the organization, providing technical and operational support, fostering long-term relationships, and ensuring alignment between customer expectations and company capabilities.

The Senior Project Manager holds full ownership and accountability for the successful execution of assigned projects and customer accounts, managing the complete lifecycle from 100% assignment phase through commissioning and final acceptance.
This role ensures delivery aligned with contractual scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety standards, while safeguarding project profitability and customer satisfaction.
Project Ownership & Execution
Own and manage the execution lifecycle of projects and/or customer accounts, from handover by Sales through execution and commissioning to final closure, defined as the issuance and full collection of the last project invoice.
Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in full compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
Develop, maintain, and drive detailed execution plans and project schedules.
Monitor progress, identify risks and deviations, and implement mitigation and recovery actions proactively.
Take full responsibility for project outcomes, ensuring no gaps in execution, coordination, or delivery.
Financial & Commercial Accountability
Own project P&L, including revenue forecasting, margin protection, cost control, invoicing, and cash collection.
Track financial performance, identify deviations, and drive corrective actions to protect or recover margins.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including scope, deliverables, and timelines.
Manage change orders, claims, and variations with customers and suppliers.
Drive a zero-value-leakage mindset, ensuring all entitled revenues are secured.
Customer & Stakeholder Leadership
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and EPC partners throughout project execution.
Lead project governance, including regular progress meetings and clear, structured reporting.
Manage customer expectations proactively, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
Act as the internal voice of the customer, advocating for their needs while balancing company objectives.
Ensure a best-in-class customer experience, supported by strong technical and product expertise.
Cross-functional Coordination
Lead and align cross-functional teams including but not limiting to; Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Field Service, and Construction management.
Ensure design compliance and technical alignment with Engineering teams.
Coordinate material availability and delivery timelines with Supply Chain and Logistics.
Collaborate with Finance on invoicing milestones, cash flow tracking, and financial reporting.
Ensure seamless site execution in coordination with construction managers and field teams.
Technical & Operational Excellence
Maintain a strong technical understanding of Nextpower solutions.
Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
Ensure availability of tools, training, and resources required for project execution.
Quality, Risk & Safety (HSE)
Take full responsibility for safety: own personal safety and contribute to the safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors on-site.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across technical, financial, and operational areas.
Drive resolution of quality issues through structured processes (e.g., NCR, CDR).
Promote continuous improvement through lessons learned and performance feedback loops.
Leadership & Driving Performance
Oversee and support the development and performance of direct reports (if applicable).
Establish, track, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Foster accountability, ownership, and high-performance standards within project teams.
Strategic Contribution
Contribute to cross-functional product and system improvement initiatives based on customer feedback and field experience.
Support Sales, Product Development, and Marketing teams with insights from project execution.
Drive operational excellence and scalability through process improvements and potential automation opportunities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, preferably in renewable energy, solar, or EPC environments.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and construction processes.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background.
- Strong project management expertise, ideally supported by formal methodologies or certifications.
- Experience working closely with supply chain, procurement, and logistics functions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer support topics, including O&M-related issues.
- Strong technical understanding of PV technology and its applications; experience with solar tracking systems is highly valued.
- Passion for renewable energy and commitment to driving performance and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in solar trackers and/or utility-scale PV projects.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly valued.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle (or similar platforms) for financial and project tracking.
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or equivalent), with the ability to manage schedules, resources, and reporting effectively.
