  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, resource requirements, and critical path analyses.
  • Drive execution against project objectives while balancing scope, schedule, quality, cost, and risk considerations.
  • Independently identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and lead resolution efforts.
  • Ensure alignment among project stakeholders and facilitate timely decision-making.

Business and Financial Leadership

  • Understand and communicate project business cases, financial objectives, revenue expectations, and profitability goals.
  • Assess project performance against approved business cases, cost models, and financial targets.

Organizational Leadership

  • Facilitate constructive resolution of conflicts and competing priorities.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and effective cross-functional decision-making.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced Project Managers and project team members.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen project execution processes and organizational capability.

Program Governance

  • Lead Stage Gate reviews and project governance activities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet applicable quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and present executive-level project updates, recommendations, and performance metrics.
  • Drive corrective actions when project performance deviates from objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Project Management, or a related technical discipline required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Experience

  • Typically requires 5+ years of total professional experience with at least 3 years of project management experience in a regulated manufacturing or medical device environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading large, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Experience managing project budgets, financial performance, scope changes, and business case execution.
  • Experience influencing teams without direct authority.
  • Experience leading customer-facing programs preferred.
  • Multi-site project experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Advanced project planning, scheduling, resource management, and critical path management skills.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, business cases, cost models, and profitability drivers.
  • Ability to lead complex projects with significant ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Proven conflict resolution and facilitation capabilities.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and executive-level reporting skills.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility across diverse functional teams.
