Position Overview
Atrium Health Dermatology SouthPark is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing dermatology team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This outpatient-only position offers the opportunity to work alongside an established group of dermatology providers in a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional skin care services.
The ideal candidate will enjoy building long-term patient relationships, working within a team-based setting, and providing high-quality dermatologic care to a diverse patient population. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Position Highlights
- Full-time APP opportunity
- Outpatient-only practice
- Monday through Friday schedule with daytime clinic hours
- No call responsibilities
- No nights, weekends, or inpatient coverage
- Join a well-established practice consisting of 14 physicians and 1 APP

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions
- Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management
- Educate patients regarding skin health, treatment options, and preventive care
- Collaborate closely with dermatologists and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Eligible for North Carolina licensure
- Current national certification as an NP or PA
- Ability to obtain necessary credentialing and privileging requirements
Preferred
- Interest in dermatology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
