Description
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Test Engineering Technician 2nd Shift to join the El Paso, TX site.
The hourly rate for this position is $23.92 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift differential. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
Shift Hours: 4:00pm-12:45am

## What you’ll do:
Position Overview:
Support the Test Engineer in the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical test equipment and systems used in the manufacturing of Eaton products. Assist in data collection, documentation, and execution of test procedures to ensure product quality and compliance.
In this function you will:
- Assist in the setup and operation of test equipment and systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
- Support troubleshooting of test failures and yield issues.
- Collect and record test data accurately for analysis.
- Follow test procedures and safety protocols.
- Maintain documentation including test logs, calibration records, and equipment manuals.
- Support training efforts for operators on basic test equipment usage.
- Collaborate with Test Engineer to implement improvements and updates.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.
- Assist in the execution of MSAs and GR&R studies.
## Qualifications:
Required:
- Associate degree or Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 mile radius) of the listed facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

## Position Criteria:
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Basic understanding of electrical circuits and test equipment
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO 9001
- Willingness to work flexible hours and support multiple shifts if needed
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Statistics knowledge: MSA, GR&R, SPC
- Familiarity with PLCs, LabView, and data collection systems
- Fully Bilingual: written and oral fluency in Spanish & English
