We are recruiting for a Credit Research Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to progress their career in a dynamic environment, taking responsibility for company analysis and trade recommendations within the consumer cyclical space within investment grade and high yield markets.  Sector focus would include Leisure, Lodging and Services.

From fixed income and equities to multi-asset solutions, our public markets teams build high-conviction portfolios based on deep research, active management, and robust portfolio construction. We take a long-term, global view – cutting through market noise to drive superior client returns while integrating sustainability at every step.

A bit about the job:

This is a credit research role with primary responsibility for providing in-depth critical analysis within the global consumer cyclical sector, specifically within Leisure, Lodging and Services. You will support portfolio construction decisions across both investment grade and high yield credit markets, using your judgment and experience to generate trade recommendations across relevant portfolios. You will work collaboratively with research colleagues across AI, fund managers and other AI research and strategy teams to formulate and underpin security selection recommendations.

Trade recommendations will be underpinned by a fundamental, bottom-up approach to credit research supported by detailed financial modelling.

 Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience of investment grade and/or high yield debt capital markets from a buy side asset manager, sell side investment bank or rating agency.
• Sector expertise preferred but not essential.
• Ability to deliver high conviction investment opinions that contribute to superior, risk adjusted results
• Experience in developing and building relevant modelling tools.

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
