Senior Cyber Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a senior cyber intelligence analyst to serve as the program's authority on cyber threat intelligence analysis supporting DIA's regional and functional intelligence centers. You set the standard for how adversary cyber activity is characterized and reported, and you develop the analysts who do that work.

Why this role: Functional Leads set the standard for their discipline across the whole program, not just one team. You mentor practitioners across multiple DIA centers, shape how the program hires and trains, and grow along a defined leadership path.

Position is contingent upon contract award. Selected candidates receive contingent offers in advance of award. All discussions are held in confidence and do not affect current employment.

 

Work Schedule: M-F 8 hours/day

 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as the senior authority for cyber threat intelligence analysis across supported centers

• Set standards for cyber intelligence products, including threat actor and tactics, techniques, and procedures characterization

• Mentor cyber analysts and build their certification and development paths

• Author and maintain procedures and position guides for cyber intelligence functions

• Coordinate with IC and DoD cyber partners on threats and priorities; serve on hiring panels

• Contribute to analytic production and senior leader briefings

 

Minimum Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance, CI polygraph preferred

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• 10+ years of intelligence experience, including 5+ in cyber threat intelligence

• Experience briefing senior military or government leaders

• Experience mentoring or leading analysts

 

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

Minimum Years of Experience: 10

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cyber intelligence experience at DIA, the Joint Staff, or a combatant command

• Experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and structured analytic techniques

• SIGINT target development or OSINT tradecraft experience

• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification

 

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

Compensation Details:

$130,000 - $170,000
