The Manager, Business Solutions is responsible for leading and delivering complex, technology-enabled business initiatives that support Ryan’s service lines and enterprise platforms. This role manages cross-functional projects, oversees solution design and implementation, and ensures high-quality delivery of client and internal solutions. The Manager serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders, clients, and technical teams to drive operational excellence, innovation, and measurable business outcomes.

Client:

• Serves as a primary point of contact for internal and/or external stakeholders.
• Leads project scoping, planning, execution, and delivery to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develops and manages project workplans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
• Proactively communicates project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensures deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Supports business development activities, including proposal development, solution design, and client presentations, as applicable.
• Manages financial aspects of projects, including forecasting, billing oversight, and cost controls.

Value:

• Leads implementation and optimization of technology-enabled business solutions, including system configuration, data management, automation, and process transformation initiatives.
• Oversees requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Identifies opportunities to improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive innovation.
• Establishes and maintains project governance standards, communication plans, and escalation protocols.
• Ensures data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with Firm standards and regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience leading projects, managing business solutions, or delivering technology-enabled services.
• Experience in consulting, implementation, enterprise systems, data management, process improvement, or tax-related environments preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience working with enterprise systems, databases, reporting tools, project management platforms, or business applications.
• Familiarity with project management tools and collaboration platforms preferred.

• Experience leading digital transformation or process automation initiatives
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Lean, or other structured project methodologies

Certificates and Licenses:

• Professional certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum certifications, Lean/Six Sigma, CPA, or other relevant industry credentials are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required, depending on role assignment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may directly supervise team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Firm policies and applicable laws.

 

Compensation Pay Transparency:

• For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $126,000.00 - $171,050.00
• For other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00
• For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 - $149,600.00
• For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00
• For other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 - $149,600.00
• For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 - $149,600.00
• For Massachusetts based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $115,500.00 - $156,475.00
• For other Massachusetts based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $110,500.00 - $149,600.00
