This position works out of our Madison, WI location supporting operations in our Cancer Diagnostics division.

As the Sr. Operations Business Systems Analyst serves as a strategic liaison among business stakeholders, IT Application Analysts, and Operations Analytics—translating complex business needs into robust ERP solutions that improve operational performance. The senior analyst independently leads medium-sized initiatives (and critical workstreams within larger programs), mentors junior analysts, and ensures systems and processes remain aligned to business goals and the Quality Management System. This role demands strong analytical skills, clear cross-functional communication and a track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
Independently lead complex ERP initiatives with broad scope and minimal oversight.
Independently gather and document requirements, translate them into designs aligned to established standards, and propose design improvements for review and approval.
Lead project steps and contribute to analysis, design, testing, deployment, and cross-functional issue resolution.
Lead and execute end-to-end functional testing and UAT cycles, ensure testing completeness and quality, contribute to SOP user documentation, and lead post–go-live stabilization efforts.
Serve as an advanced support resource by troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending durable corrective actions. Share triage and escalation guidance with peers.
Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders, leaders, and external vendors, translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Lead change management initiatives including development and ownership of SOPs and advanced training materials. Deliver targeted end-user training to drive adoption and sustainment.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location. May include overnight/weekend travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to essential duties; or Associates Degree and 2 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience.
4 years of experience as a business analyst designing and supporting processes in systems such as SAP, Oracle, or other ERP.
Experience as an analyst in an operations, supply chain, and/or manufacturing environment.
Experience leading system enhancement or implementation projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
Experience supporting business processes in advanced supply chain management solutions like SAP IBP, PP/DS, and/or Digital Manufacturing.
Experience in a biotech/life sciences manufacturing environment; preferably in a cGMP, ISO 13485, and/or CLIA environment.
Experience at a company with Computer Systems Validation processes in place or equivalent best practices and of change control as it relates to application systems.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Experience with SAP Fiori apps as a business user or in an analyst role.
