Location: Remote – Latin America Preferred

Our client is seeking a skilled Level 3 Microsoft 365 Expert / Cloud Engineer with deep Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, and escalation experience to join their growing technical team. You will play a key role in resolving complex cloud issues, leading migrations and optimization projects, and designing secure Microsoft solutions across multiple MSP environments. Your work will directly impact client environments through improved security, reliability, performance, and long-term cloud strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior escalation point for complex Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, and integration issues across multiple client environments, driving root-cause analysis and permanent solutions.
- Architect, deploy, optimize, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams.
- Lead tenant-to-tenant and server-to-cloud migrations involving email, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and on-premises file servers.
- Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview, including security, compliance, identity, and endpoint management.
- Support third-party applications integrated with Microsoft 365, resolving authentication, permissions, data-flow, and configuration issues while coordinating with software vendors when needed.
- Build and maintain PowerShell automation for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and other administrative workflows to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Work directly with MSP partners and end customers to recommend security, licensing, performance, governance, and cloud strategy improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven senior-level or L3 experience administering, supporting, and troubleshooting complex Microsoft 365 environments in production.
- Hands-on expertise with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Intune, Entra ID, Conditional Access, Defender, and Purview.
- Demonstrated experience leading tenant-to-tenant and server-to-cloud migrations from planning through implementation and stabilization.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills for Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint, and administrative workflows.
- Experience working with or within MSP environments and the ability to manage multiple client environments with different standards, configurations, and documentation.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, business stakeholders, MSP partners, and end customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, investigate unfamiliar technologies, use vendor documentation and AI-powered research tools effectively, and own complex problems through resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience establishing Microsoft 365 security baselines and governance standards across multiple tenants.
- Experience with Microsoft licensing strategy, feature adoption, and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience integrating Microsoft 365 with third-party security, identity, document management, and line-of-business applications.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, identity, and governance best practices.
- Experience advising clients on long-term Microsoft cloud architecture and technology strategy.
