Description
The Machine Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating sachet production line equipment during swing shift. This role ensures machinery is set up and functioning properly, product quality standards are maintained, and production goals are met while adhering to all safety and GMP requirements. The Machine Operator is expected to maintain production schedules, minimize downtime through effective troubleshooting, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a positive team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Set up, operate, and adjust sachet line machinery to maintain consistent production flow.
· Load materials and monitor equipment performance during operation.
· Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
· Troubleshoot and perform minor adjustments to machines to minimize downtime.
· Complete production logs and downtime records accurately.
· Follow all safety protocols, GMP, company policies, and SOPs at all times.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area and support 5S practices.
· Communicate any issues or concerns to the shift lead or supervisor.
· Assist team members as needed to meet production goals.
· Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently while producing quality products.
· Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
· Assist with training new employees as proficiency is achieved.
· Cross-train in other departments.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives.
· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Work performed in production/warehouse environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
· Must be able to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
· Use PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.) as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
· 1+ years of machine operator or packaging experience preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
· Proven reliability and strong attendance record.
· Strong time management skills and ability to work as part of a team.
· Ability to follow SOPs consistently.
· Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Technical training in machine operation, packaging, or manufacturing processes preferred.
