Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end landside shipment execution—from booking and planning to delivery and order closure—using SAP TMS
- Plan and optimize transport, including vendor allocation, scheduling, and handling changes (amendments/cancellations)
- Monitor execution, proactively manage exceptions, and ensure timely resolution across stakeholders
- Coordinate with transport vendors to ensure service delivery, compliance, and performance adherence
- Ensure accurate system updates, cost validation, and timely order closure to support billing and profitability.
- Coordinate work closely with external parties – vendors, terminals, customers and internal functions – finance, procurement, customer experience.
- Build strong engagement with regional front office teams
- Participate in internal team meetings and contribute with ideas/suggestions for overall improvement of the operations business unit.
Accountabilities
- Deliver reliable and on-time shipment execution in line with agreed service levels
- Ensure high data accuracy and system integrity across SAP TMS processes
- Drive cost discipline by adhering to planned spend and highlighting deviations
- Proactively manage exceptions to minimize operational disruptions
- Ensure vendor performance and compliance with operational standards
- Adhere to defined processes, controls, and governance frameworks
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
Primary internal stakeholders:
- Cross functional Teams – Finance, Procurement, Customer Experience, Area / Regional Counterpart
Primary external stakeholders:
- Vendor – Truck, Rail, Barge (as applicable)
- Terminals – Rail, Sea, Depot
- Application Tech Support
System and Process Knowledge
- Strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management System dispatch workflows.
- Ability to identify and resolve missing or incorrect data within system flows.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate documentation accurately.
- Capability to analyse operational data, including review and reporting activities.
Role Requirements
Bachelor's Graduate
Excellent English Communications Skills
Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics, Shipping or Freight (Better if from Shipping Landside process)
Technical Skills: MS Office tools, SAP BI applications/tools, programs or systems colleague would be responsible for operating, any other assisting software.
Strong attitude, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
