Supply Chain Planning Lead

Position Summary:

Kraus is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Lead to establish, mature, and own the company’s supply chain planning capability as the business continues to scale. This role will create a single, data-driven demand signal across Sales, Product, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations, improving forecast accountability, inventory planning, and cross-functional decision-making. The right individual will lead key processes and collaborate with stakeholders at Kraus and Delta to optimize working capital, customer service and operational costs

The ideal candidate is a builder and player-coach: strategic enough to design the process, governance, and executive rhythm, but hands-on enough to manage forecasting, analytics, assumptions, and planning outputs. This role is intended for a manager who can influence across the organization, challenge assumptions constructively, and help move Kraus from reactive forecasting to a more disciplined, scalable planning model.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning Strategy & Ownership

• Collaborate with Delta and Masco Sister Companies to integrate Best Practices into Kraus processes.
• Develop the planning calendar, governance routines, forecast assumptions, and decision-making cadence.
• Build scalable data-driven processes that improve planning discipline and improve Forecast accuracy.
• Translate commercial strategy, customer trends, product launches, promotions, and market signals into an actionable demand outlook.

Forecasting, Analytics & Performance Management

• Create and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical trends, customer insights, seasonality, promotional activity, and business inputs.
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, forecast value-add, service-level impact, and inventory health.
• Identify demand risks, upside opportunities, and forecast variances; recommend practical actions to improve outcomes.
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and executive-ready insights that support data-driven planning decisions.

S&OP / Consensus Planning Leadership

• Lead the monthly demand review and support the broader S&OP process.
• Facilitate consensus planning across Sales, Product, Finance, and Operations.
• Challenge and reconcile inputs from multiple functions to create one aligned demand plan.
• Present demand outlooks, key assumptions, risks, opportunities, and recommended decisions to leadership.

Inventory, Supply & Business Partnership

• Partner with Supply Planning, Procurement, and Operations to balance demand, inventory, service levels, lead times, and working capital goals.
• Help identify stock-out exposure, excess/obsolete inventory risk, and demand-supply disconnects before they become operational issues.
• Support scenario planning related to growth initiatives, major customers, product transitions, promotions, and supply constraints.
• Develop and implement safety stock policies that are scalable and optimize Kraus’s inventory.

Capability Building & Player-Coach Leadership

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for demand planning best practices.
• Build tools, templates, routines, and planning discipline that can scale with the business.
• Coach cross-functional partners and any future planning team members on process, metrics, and expectations.
• Remain hands-on in the work while creating the foundation for a more mature planning function over time.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, S&OP, inventory planning, or related disciplines.
• Experience building, improving, or transforming planning processes in a growth-oriented or evolving business environment.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to turn complex data into clear business insights and practical recommendations.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Able to operate at both strategic and tactical levels: developing the roadmap while also executing the forecast and planning routines.
• Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, IBP, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or similar tools preferred.
• Experience in consumer products, durable goods, home improvement, plumbing, hardware, distribution, or manufacturing environments preferred.

Hiring Range: $106,500.00 - $167,200.00 USD
