Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Collaborate with vendors and help service management teams with issue analysis and resolution.

Summary:
As a Technology Support Engineer, a typical day involves addressing and resolving incidents and problems that affect various business system components to maintain smooth and stable operations. The role includes managing change requests and continuously updating documentation to enhance troubleshooting processes. Collaboration with external vendors and internal service management teams is a key part of the daily routine, ensuring timely analysis and resolution of issues to support business continuity and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle EBS R12 (12.1 / 12.2) environments
Perform cloning, patching (ADOP), upgrades, and environment refresh activities
Manage Concurrent Managers, Workflow Mailer, and application services
Monitor and optimize EBS application and Oracle database performance
Handle backup and recovery (RMAN), disaster recovery, and high availability setups
Administer WebLogic, including application and database tier components
Provide techno-functional support across EBS modules (Finance / SCM / HR)
Gather and analyze business requirements and propose appropriate solutions
Troubleshoot production issues (technical and functional) and ensure RCA completion
Manage user access, responsibilities, and application security
Perform database performance tuning (SQL tuning, indexing, query optimization)
Support version upgrades (e.g., R12.1 to R12.2) and patch analysis
Coordinate with Oracle Support for SR management and critical issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DBA, Infra, Functional, Business)


Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong experience in Oracle EBS Apps DBA activities
Expertise in ADOP / ADPATCH / TXK patching
Hands-on experience in cloning (Delphix), patching, and upgrades
Oracle Database Administration (12c / 19c)
Backup and Recovery (RMAN) and DR strategies
Performance tuning (Database, Applications, Concurrent Requests)
Experience in WebLogic and application server management
Experience working with Oracle Support (SR handling)

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
