This position reports to:
Planning & Fulfillment Manager__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: On Site.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in Apodaca N.L.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Data Collection and Cleaning: Extract data from databases and ensure data quality through cleaning and validation.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and effective dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to various audiences.
- Demand and Trends Analysis: Utilize statistical techniques and analysis tools to understand historical demand patterns and forecast future inventory needs.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare regular and ad hoc reports on inventory performance, presenting analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders within the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes through data analysis, implement solutions, and evaluate the impact of initiatives undertaken.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Degree in Systems, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Familiarity with SAP, or strong willingness to learn SAP MM (Materials Management).
- Basic to intermediate skills in Excel and/or Power BI; exposure to SQL and Python is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret numerical data and perform straightforward analyses.
- Quick learner, comfortable adapting to new tools and technologies
- Effective communication skills, able to explain analysis clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English.
