Description
Position Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, and continuously improve comprehensive onboarding, certification, recertification, cross-training, and skills development programs for all hourly Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) team members.
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the organization's online Learning Management System (LMS), managing course creation, learning paths, and completion metrics.
- Create engaging, professional blended learning materials, including instructional guides, job aids, video content, and reference resources that reflect current operational procedures.
- Conduct train-the-trainer workshops and travel regularly between area restaurant locations to observe execution, run operational audits, and provide constructive on-the-floor coaching to trainers and leadership.
- Partner closely with the Director of Restaurant Operations and General Managers to support new menu rollouts, system changes, and operational initiatives.
- Generate training insights and compliance reports for leadership while continuously ensuring that training methods reinforce core company values and cultural standards.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in high-volume restaurant operations, hospitality training, or learning and development.
- Proven track record of creating training materials, developing blended learning content, and facilitating presentations or workshops.
- Strong proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite; hands-on experience administering an LMS platform is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and influence behaviors across multiple locations without direct authority.
- Ability to stand and facilitate training for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and travel regularly between area business locations.
Compensation Package Details
Base Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Bonus: Bonus program based on the restaurant division's profitability
