Description
The Law Enforcement and Litigation Portfolio is seeking a highly motivated Customer Relationship Manager to support a federal customer. This role is ideal for someone who is driven, detail oriented, organized and ready to jump in to help manage and streamline operational and coordination tasks across various teams. The position will have responsibility for managing the day-to-day work, adjudicating priorities, interfacing with senior customer leadership, managing personnel actions, and other relevant duties as assigned. A go getter attitude, high energy, and the ability to jump in with minimal guidance to get things done are essential for success in this role.
The work for our federal customers includes Service Desk services with the use of ServiceNow as an ITSM system, deskside support, asset management, IT infrastructure support, custom application support, information assurance, and other critical IT services enabling our customer’s mission. The Customer Relationship Manager role also has responsibility for financial performance.
This position is at a customer facility in downtown Washington, DC requiring on site presence 4-days a week, and requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be personable and articulate and will be a self-starter who can work with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interface with customers and team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the relationship with the federal customer and serving as the customer’s single point of contact by coordinating with cross functional teams and ensuring the prompt follow-up to actions and tasks
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams and influence executive leadership.
- Manage a team to include functions such as staffing, performance management, etc.
- Manage budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
- Lead and oversee a large, multidisciplinary team, with responsibility for workforce planning, staffing, performance management, and personnel decisions, including recommending and initiating hiring and termination actions subject to manager approval.
- Be accountable by owning and managing the task budget, including forecasting, resource allocation, cost control, and financial performance, with accountability for meeting or exceeding established financial targets.
- Lead the team to meet or exceed all Key Performance Indicators on the contract.
- Identify opportunities and contribute to proposals for follow-on efforts
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years or prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Generally has 4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
- Program or Project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience interfacing with federal government customers
- Experience in an operational IT environment
- U.S. Citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust clearance
- Candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer’s information.
Desired Qualifications:
- Project management certifications, such as PMP, are highly desirable
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM
- Government contracting experience, particularly with the DOJ

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
